How does the Government’s Feed in Tariff work ?
The Feed in Tariff enables home owners to get paid for every unit of electricity they generate at a higher rate than the price they pay for electricity from their energy supplier. How long will the job take ?
The time scale for Renewable installations can vary depending on individual property and the technology to be installed. Typically after a survey, an installation takes around 2 days.
Will scaffolding be an additional cost on top of the installation ?
Before any work is carried out, our qualified surveyors will talk you through the installation process. If scaffolding is needed to complete your job, the cost will be detailed in your quote.
Do solar panels only work in sunny weather ?
As long as there is daylight, Solar PV panels (Photovoltaic – solar energy generation) will generate electricity. Although on overcast days their power output will be reduced. Solar thermal panels (solar hot water) will heat water almost every day of the year, but will heat water to a higher temperature during sunnier days.
